Cub Scouts

Welcome to our Ladybrook Valley District Cub Scout Page. Cub Scouts is the second section of the Scouting movement and is a great place to come for fun, adventure and friendship. In 2016 we will celebrate 100 years!

Cub Scouts are boys and girls aged between 8 and 10½ and attend weekly meetings in a hut as a pack. Each pack is run by a trained Cub Scout Leader (Akela) along with Assistant Cub Leaders or helpers. We have a super team of dedicated experienced leaders within Ladybrook Valley with 12 cub packs in our District – covering Bramhall, Hazel Grove and Woodford and all leaders and helpers give up their time voluntarily.

Cubs offers a programme of fun, adventurous activities including camping which allows the children to develop their skills, talents and sense of achievement. By doing these activities they can earn badges to put on their uniforms and all cubs are encouraged to achieve their Chief Scout Silver Award – the highest award available in the Cub Scout Section.

Come and join the Adventure! If you would like further information about the Cub Section and packs in our District, either as a Cub or an Adult Leader or helper, please contact
